Ginger’s family wrote us: “Hello! I just wanted to update you guys on Ginger. She has been with us for 4 months now but honestly – we cannot imagine or remember our home feeling like a home without her. She is the very definition of happiness – as her wiggly little butt always reminds us when we come through the front door. She loves the big squishy armchair where she takes post-walk naps. And she follows our black lab, Jack, pretty much everywhere. The two of them follow ME in the kitchen and have learned quickly how to use their cuteness to their advantage: it earns them many carrots, sweet potato wedges, and apple slices. They have become the best of friends.
Since Kevin is a police officer who works permanent night shifts, G has made sure I am never lonely or worried: she snuggles beside my pillow in bed at night and is always happy to let me pet her until I’m tired enough to fall asleep. And she is ready to clack her teeth and wiggle herself into Kevin’s arms when he comes home from work in the morning. There is no doubt in our minds that G has made our lives fuller. We are also convinced now that two dogs are always better than one. Thank you for rescuing this sweet girl and bringing her home to us.
